Argon arc welder • Jema'A, Kaduna State

Now hiring: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Jema'A, Kaduna State. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. You will keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish. What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Rotating shifts.
