Immediate opening: we are hiring a line cook in Wheeler County, Oregon. The job is in a hospital or office canteen. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat Your main tasks: • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha Part-time with flexible hours.
