We are recruiting: gantry crane operator (Niger State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Tafa, Niger State. You should have: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • A good head for heights for tower crane work Your main tasks: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift Rotating shifts.
