We are recruiting: we are hiring a painter and decorator in Trigg County, Kentucky. The job is at a busy decorating firm. The role involves fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps; strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns; mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting; apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls; clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job; apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller. Requirements: • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator • Physically fit for standing, bending and reaching all day • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec Rotating shifts.
