Immediate opening: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Carson County, Texas. You will be based at a wholesale meat market. Your main tasks: • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings You should have: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter 6+ years on the tools preferred.
