Join our team: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in Hamilton County, Illinois. You should have: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets On the job you will handle: • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler 2+ years on the tools preferred.
