Now hiring: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Mani, Katsina State. You will be based in a meat processing plant. The role involves: • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date What we are looking for: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
