Wood machinist — Ika

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a wood machinist in Ika, Akwa Ibom State. The job is at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. Your main tasks: • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours What we are looking for: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
