Immediate opening: foundry worker (Adamawa State)

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry worker in Guyuk, Adamawa State. The job is at a busy iron foundry. What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Day to day you will carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
