Great opportunity: hydraulic press operator (England)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Barnsley, England. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred Day-to-day duties: • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely Part-time with flexible hours.
