Immediate opening: short order cook (New York)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a short order cook in Wayne County, New York. You will work in a hotel kitchen. You should have: • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards On a typical shift you will prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; prepare the mise en place before each service. 2+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
