Urgent requirement: fettler (Benue State)

Now hiring: we are hiring a fettler in Konshisha, Benue State. On a typical shift you will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
