Now hiring: pastry baker (Rivers State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pastry baker in Etche, Rivers State. Day-to-day duties: • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight What we are looking for: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Full-time with occasional weekends.
