Immediate opening: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Jeff Davis County, Georgia. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Ideal candidate: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers You will trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
