Horticulturist — Liberty County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a horticulturist in Liberty County, Florida. You will work in a public park. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance Day-to-day duties: • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers Full-time with occasional weekends.
