Immediate opening: machine operator (earthworks) (Indiana)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Monroe County, Indiana. You will be based at a drainage and utilities contractor. Day to day you will work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport. You should have: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
