Horticulturist wanted in Mason County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a horticulturist in Mason County, Texas. You will work in a botanical garden. On the job you will handle: • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades Requirements: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
