Great opportunity: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Deschutes County, Oregon. You will work at a civil contractor's yard. On a typical shift you will push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid. Ideal candidate: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
