Now hiring: brickwork mason (Kebbi State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Jega, Kebbi State. You will work at a renovation and extension job. Day to day you will pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. You should have: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
