Metal caster wanted in Collier County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a metal caster in Collier County, Florida. Requirements: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Your main tasks: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
