Pipe tig welder — Ohimini

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Ohimini, Benue State. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances The role involves weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run.
