Great opportunity: we are hiring a horticulturist in Gurara, Niger State. The role involves: • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn Ideal candidate: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
