Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Rogers County, Oklahoma. You will work in a precision engineering workshop. You should have: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection The role involves: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
