Plant operator • Wudil, Kano State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a plant operator in Wudil, Kano State. The job is at a road and highway construction project. Day-to-day duties: • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly What we are looking for: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
