Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Edati, Niger State. On a typical shift you will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. Requirements: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day ₦105,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
