Vacancy available: we are hiring a carpenter in Morgan County, Alabama. You will be based in a cabinet-making workshop. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings The role involves: • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge Part-time with flexible hours.
