Now hiring: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Asa, Kwara State. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Confident with standard crane hand signals The role involves: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings Full-time, day shift.
