Estate gardener — Suffolk County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an estate gardener in Suffolk County, Massachusetts. You will be based at a landscaping company. Ideal candidate: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting On a typical shift you will prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe.
