Horticulturist • Hays County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a horticulturist in Hays County, Texas. The job is on the grounds of a hotel resort. Day to day you will cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease. You should have: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage 5+ years on the tools preferred.
