Restaurant steward — Hamilton County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a restaurant steward in Hamilton County, Illinois. You will be based in a coffee shop. What we are looking for: • Familiarity with POS billing and order-taking systems • Ability to carry loaded trays and stay on your feet for long shifts • Good knowledge of the menu, ingredients and beverages Day-to-day duties: • Lay table covers with cutlery, napkins, glassware and crockery • Restock side stations with sauces, condiments and napkins • Upsell starters, desserts and beverages • Handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager • Greet guests, seat them and present the menu • Clear and reset tables between covers We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits.
