On a typical shift you will fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground. You should have: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Full-time, day shift.
