Vacancy available: ladle pourer (Kano State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Gwarzo, Kano State. You will work at a busy iron foundry. Day to day you will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
