Now hiring: commis chef (Kentucky)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a commis chef in Todd County, Kentucky. Day to day you will prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure 4+ years on the tools preferred.
