Immediate opening: port container crane operator (Missouri)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Jefferson County, Missouri. You will be based on a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Strong attention to safety and load limits On a typical shift you will follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift.
