Immediate opening: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Fune, Yobe State. What we are looking for: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites Day-to-day duties: • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
