Metal caster wanted in Monguno

Great opportunity: we are hiring a metal caster in Monguno, Borno State. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. On a typical shift you will prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. You should have: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Full-time, day shift.
