Lifting rigger wanted in Odukpani

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Odukpani, Cross River State. The role involves: • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
