Tig welder wanted in Ikeja

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tig welder in Ikeja, Lagos State. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. What we are looking for: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances On a typical shift you will weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job.
