We are recruiting: offshore rigger (Katsina State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Kaita, Katsina State. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
