Great opportunity: we are hiring a carpenter in Ohimini, Benue State. Day-to-day duties: • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level Requirements: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around ₦220,000 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
