Urgent requirement: deboner (Minnesota)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a deboner in Mahnomen County, Minnesota. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Day-to-day duties: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone You should have: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
