Plant operator (dozer) wanted in Jasper County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Jasper County, Illinois. You will work at an open-cast mine. Day-to-day duties: • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals Requirements: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain Six days a week, one day off.
