Garden maintenance worker • Ifako/Ijaye, Lagos State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Ifako/Ijaye, Lagos State. The job is in a botanical garden. Your main tasks: • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings What we are looking for: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
