Urgent requirement: we are hiring a presser in Gokana, Rivers State. The job is in a busy laundry. On the job you will handle: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around ₦440,000 per project, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
