Body shop technician — Broward County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a body shop technician in Broward County, Florida. The job is at a paint and panel shop. Your main tasks: • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray What we are looking for: • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
