Gardener wanted in Derbyshire

Now hiring: we are hiring a gardener in Derbyshire, England. You will be based on a golf course. Requirements: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting On the job you will handle: • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. £90 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
