Great opportunity: concrete shuttering carpenter (Virginia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Middlesex County, Virginia. You will be based on a residential tower site. On a typical shift you will assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour. Ideal candidate: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites Full-time, day shift.
