Hand presser wanted in Montgomery County

Now hiring: we are hiring a hand presser in Montgomery County, Ohio. Your main tasks: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
