Sausage maker wanted in Cass County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sausage maker in Cass County, Illinois. You will work at a busy retail butcher's shop. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Your main tasks: • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Season and marinate meat on request • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
