Wood machinist — Pike County

Join our team: we are hiring a wood machinist in Pike County, Ohio. The job is in a cabinet-making workshop. On a typical shift you will finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Good eye for detail and a clean finish 6+ years on the tools preferred.
